A dark night in Flat Rock, Alabama about 11:00 pm.  I pull off the road and try my hand at some night photography.  I am in the middle of nowhere, I can hear the coyotes (The children of the night) howling in the distance, no lights, and this photo is the result of my experiment…

Today’s thought is this:  Don’t be afraid to try something new.  Is there something you always wanted to try?  Maybe today is the day…   Why do we not try?  What prevents us from doing what our hearts tell us we should try?  I believe one reason is we fear failure…  If I had said, “I am afraid the pictures will not turn out good”, so, I drive on passed the deserted road with all the coyotes making music …

Remember:

•  I’d rather attempt to do something great and fail than attempt to do nothing and succeed.

•   It is often the failure who is the pioneer in new lands, new undertakings, and new forms of expression.

•  Many of life’s failures are men who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
